By keeping difficult scenes or shots- that most indie filmmakers would dare not attempt- Derek Hayes has proven himself as a creative power house. As executive producer, director, writer, editor, and production manager- Derek can write creatively, not limit his imagination, and actually make it happen. I believe in Derek Hayes as a filmmaker and director. His passion is un-matched and his ambition translates into successful projects. I cannot wait to see what he does next.

Derek Hayes is a pirate. He has stolen more shots and never compromised his vision. Derek secured the rights to a house that was for sale. Shot a 25 page script over the course of two days. Convinced the local police to show up while simulating a fire. And rolled camera, capturing an awesome scene. Incredible. Neighbors
